Eaton, Babb & Smith, a certified public accounting firm serving North Mississippi since 1987, is pleased to announce a transition in firm ownership effective January 1, 2026.
The firm was founded in 1987 by Richard Eaton, Sue Ellen Miller, and Britt Smith with a commitment to providing high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and businesses throughout the region. Today, the firm operates offices in Ripley, New Albany, and Tupelo, Mississippi.
As part of a planned ownership transition, Sue Ellen Miller has sold her shares in the firm to Bradley Littlejohn and Albert Sappington, effective January 1, 2026. Sue Ellen will remain a principal in the firm’s Ripley office and will continue working full-time, maintaining her longstanding client relationships and leadership role.
The firm’s present shareholders are Britt Smith, Joe Babb, Bradley Littlejohn, and Albert Sappington. This transition reflects the firm’s long-term succession planning and ensures continued stability for clients and staff.
